No. APKI does not charge job seekers for registration. We follow ethical recruitment practices as required by Malaysian labour laws.
3. Which industries does APKI supply manpower to?
We support manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, service, tourism, plantation, and domestic sectors.
4. Which countries can domestic helpers be hired from?
We recruit domestic helpers and caregivers from Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and Sri Lanka, using only licensed and approved channels.
5. What is the process for hiring foreign workers?
The process includes quota application, approvals from relevant ministries, selection from approved source countries, Visa With Reference (VDR), medical screening, and onboarding.
6. How long does the recruitment or job matching process take?
Most local job matching is completed within 3–14 working days, while foreign worker hiring may take 6–12 weeks, depending on approvals and documentation.
7. What training do domestic helpers receive before placement?
Helpers undergo accredited training covering housekeeping, caregiving, hygiene, safety, and employer expectations.
8. Does APKI provide transportation and hostel arrangements?
Yes. We partner with licensed hostel operators and transportation providers offering GPS-tracked vehicles for daily commuting, medical visits, and airport transfers.
9. How does APKI ensure ethical recruitment for foreign and local workers?
We practice zero-debt recruitment, transparent processes, counselling support, and strict adherence to Malaysian Labour Act 1955 and international ethical standards.
10. Are domestic helpers required to undergo medical screening?
Yes. All domestic helpers must pass a FOMEMA-approved medical examination before starting employment.
